Gordon Ramsey’s latest venture outside London – Street Burger in Woking
“Gordon Ramsay’s brand new Street Burger restaurant is open in Woking. Enjoy signature burgers, fries and unlimited soft drinks for ยฃ15.”
Taste trials at Street Burger in Woking before the regular opening tomorrow. Good bun, tasty and crunchy pickles, fresh tomatoes and salad and a delicious sauce. The burger was a good size (it must be, as they going to charge you ยฃ 15.00, with unlimited soft drinks and a side) the cooking was done in batches due to the people waiting, I prefer my slightly pink when possible, so need to have another go during the week with maybe something else. Clearly at this price point, there is no local direct competition, they give a better product, but you have to be prepared to spend more, this is not a Mc Donald for ยฃ1.99 with the vouchers. How many people in Woking are ready to pay the price, remember that this is not Knightsbridge, slightly different crowd here. This is a more upmarket choice, for more or less the same kind of money you could spend at Shake Shack ( many around central London, I say similar quality here, and Five Guys, the closest in Guildford, in this case definitely we have the better choice in Woking, this is my opinion on the burger alone, have to come back to try the full menu. In case you want to have more choice my only suggestion is take the train and go to London, check before you travel which one is open and go, Patty and Bun, Meat Liquor, Mac and Wild or Bleecker, this are my favourite.
